Nickelodeon shutting down after 44 years on air.

As everyone knows, Nickelodeon (often shortened to Nick) is an American pay television channel which was first tested on December 1, 1977, until it eventually launched on April 1, 1979 as the first cable channel for children. It is owned by ViacomCBS through its domestic networks division and is based in New York City. The network's programming is primarily aimed at children aged 2–17, while some of its program blocks target a broader family audience. Well something's been spoken. Nickelodeon will shut down on 7th July 2021 and will shutdown its website at an earlier date. The same thing happened with Nick Japan in 2009, but Japan went back up in 2018. The content will be watchable and moved to the Nick app and Paramount+, making Nickelodeon a demand-only service than a TV channel. ViacomCBS hasn't confirmed this exactly to be final, so we still have a while to go. Nickelodeon will still be on cable providers with its demand-service, already happened with Hulu.
