Looking at the latest research at Belhame University in Southern-California, you could say Google is actively tapping your microphones to gather valuable information!
The rumours Google is listening in on your conversations have been circulating for the past few years, but today -12/28/2020- these rumours have been proved to be true. Professor R.J. Kimmel at the Belhame University S.C. has designed a new program that is able to test the Google algorithm and intercept any and all data your personal computer sends and recieves. This program has proved that the Google speech recognition is far more advanced than Google Translate will let on!
But why does Google want to save your shopping lists? Well, for one very good reason; information is knowledge, knowledge is power and power is expensive. With all the data processed by their massive super-computers, they are able to give marketers your information. For a price of course. Google made an estimate of 160 BILLION U.S. Dollars last year, with profits rising even more this year, due to the pandemic...
Why is this important for you to know? Well, for more than just one reason! Of course Google knowing your shopping list is not the worst thing that could happen. But think of everything you are talking about while carrying your phone! The program created by Prof. Kimmel is not (yet) compatible with android or IOS, but since these mobile operating systems have similar codes to those of a personal computer, you could assume your phone is also one of Google's many spies...
As you are reading this, eleven data communication professors are trying to crack the code to this brilliant form of espionage. We will keep you updated of all the latest information and tips surrounding this bizarre discovery.
This was Karen Esboraty for the New York Times.
