Pitkin County closes it’s doors due to Covid-19

With the rise of Covid-19 cases in Pitkin County, Pitkin County Health Department published this afternoon (at 16:00 GMT-7) that as of January 1st, 2021, public authorities will no longer accept the Pitkin County Traveler Affidavit and will stop allowing the entrance of foreign tourists. USA residents will be allowed to enter.
With the beginning of 2021, Aspen Mountain Ski Resort, Aspen Highlands Ski Resort, Buttermilk Ski Resort and Aspen Snowmass Ski Resort will be affected by this measures. Although foreign skiers that entered the county before the deadline will be allowed to keep their lift tickets and reservations, it is highly encouraged for foreigners that are arriving after the 1st to change or cancel their holidays.
