The beloved videogame console manufacturer has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy after failing to meet the sales goals mandated by investors. Microsoft boss Bill Gates has said "it is a sad day for the videogame industry. Nintendo were a great competitor, and partner." He also expressed interest in purchasing some franchises and 2nd party developers.
