Jackeline, an architect of 30 years, was the only one rescued

The only survival was Jackeline, an architect of 30 years, who said that she saw all the companions falling like flies. She explained that she fell several meters and was wounded, but still tube attached to a rock and save is lucky.

Jackeline began to notice that the movement of the rocks and that meant it something . Half an hour after the rocks was launched somewhere different and trapped by the amount of stones.

A climber who saw the facts and asked for help to rescue us. Unfortunately, when the authorities arrived, my colleagues already had deceased.

As explained by the brother of one of the climbers , Blacke Perin, they always went together, although the women who best knew the zone could not go with them and told them the way to get the top.

On the other hand, for the police it has been difficult to know how exactly the five French mountain climbers fell down. None of them survived this unfortunate accident and for this reason researchers on mountain mishap have been analysing the steep terrain in search of some evidence of the fall. At the end, some clue came out in relation to the security rope. It seems that one of the carabiners was wore away and the weight of the five climbers caused the break of it.

As has been said before, the group fell down about 100 meters and the bodies were beaten multiple times. Furthermore, some of these dead climbers were hung in the air because of the ropes that supported them. This fact produced difficulties in the rescue, large number of specialists at the mountain had to work together to get put the bodies in a safety transport to take them to the nearest city.

Finally, when the rescue ended, his identity was searched and police noticed to his family about the tragic accident. There was a confusion in his thoughts because people who knew them, believed that this could not happen to professionals like the group from Canigou’s school.

These accidentshave not gone unnoticed by mountain lovers. On Facebook we can read thousands of comments that show solidarity with what happened. An example of a comment is Rosa who says:

I love the mountains and I like hiking, but what has happened this weekend is terrible, I do not know if I will be able to return, I am afraid, life is so fragile…

Another example of a comment, from a professional athlete ,is Kílian Jornet who says:

The mountains are beautiful but dangerous at the same time. This duality is what attracts me the most. However, my heart is broken, I am very sorry for the tragic deaths this weekend.

It is evident that people are very affected by the news, Internet shows it. There is even a group of people who have organized an event next weekend, they will go up to the Canigó dressed in black as a sign of solidarity with the families of the deceased.

This tragedy reminds us that extreme sports are dangerous. Nowadays that they have become so fashionable, we must make people aware of the risks.
